I recently viewed some great living history. The Collings Foundation, a group which believes in the preservation of old aircraft, brought three of their WWII aircraft into Eppley airfield. They parked a B-24, B-17 and P-51 at the Tac-Air facility for viewing and rides. It was a great photo opportunity. Among the viewers were two men who piloted the B-24 in combat. It was an honor to shake their hands.
